A New Zealand visitor visa allows you to visit the country as a tourist or to visit friends and family.
Depending on what passport you hold, you may need to apply for a visitor visa before you travel to New Zealand. There are a number of requirements to satisfy in order to be granted a visitor visa, and I am able to support you through your visitor visa application to ensure a successful outcome.
If you enter in a relationship or marry a New Zealand citizen or resident, or if you are the dependent child of a New Zealand citizen or resident, you can apply for a visa to join them in New Zealand.
If your partner or parent holds work or student visa, you may also be able to join them if you meet the requirements. I have assisted many families and couples reunite and start life together in New Zealand.
If you want to visit family in New Zealand multiple times on the same visa, the Parent and Grandparent Visitor Visa may be the right option for you. You must be visiting your New Zealand citizen or resident children or grandchildren.
People who fear returning to their own country can apply in New Zealand to be recognised as refugees or protected persons. I have considerable experience in refugee matters, and can assist you with your refugee claim.
While your refugee claim is being considered, you can apply and be granted a work visa. After you are approved (granted refugee status), you can apply for permanent residence. I have successfully assisted many clients with obtaining their work and residence visas on these grounds.
Temporary visas (such as work, student or visitor visas) are granted with conditions, for example, you can only work for a specific employer or study only at a certain institute.
If your circumstances change (you want to work for a different employer, study while you work, study in a different institute or course), I can assist you with an application to vary the conditions of your visa. While this type of application may seem straightforward, there are many rules surrounding the requirements. I am happy to assist you with your application.
If Immigration New Zealand declines your application for a temporary visa (visit, study, work visa) while you are in New Zealand, you have the right to ask for reconsideration (review) of the decision. I have successfully represented numerous clients who came to me after their visa applications were declined.
If your residence or refugee status application is declined, you may be able to appeal against the decline decision to the Immigration and Protection Tribunal (which is administered by the Ministry of Justice). In some cases, you may also be able to appeal to the Minister of Immigration. I have appealed successfully a number of cases to the Tribunal and the Minister of Immigration, and can assist you with your situation too.
If you remain in New Zealand after your temporary visa expires and you have not made any arrangements to extend it or apply for another type of visa, you become unlawful and liable for deportation.
Depending on your circumstances and the time the liability arises, you may be able to appeal against deportation within a limited time frame from becoming unlawful. These appeals are heard by the Immigration & Protection Tribunal. I have appealed successfully a number of cases to the Tribunal, and can assist you with your situation too.
If you’re planning to study here full time and the course is for longer than three months, you'll need a student visa.
I can assist you with obtaining a New Zealand student visa. Depending on the type and length of your study, you may be able to work part-time during the academic year, and full-time during the holidays. If you'd like to work here after gaining your qualification to get some experience, there are a number of options, including post-study work visas.
If you are an employer looking to hire migrants, you need to become accredited.
As of 2021, all employers in New Zealand need to become accredited to be able to hire migrant workers. I have assisted several employers with obtaining accreditation, and I am available to assist you with yours.
If you want to work in New Zealand, you’ll need a work resident visa.

Note, however, that you cannot work for the prospective employer until your visa application is approved.
